Seattle police officers shot after downtown robbery

Seattle Police launched a manhunt downtown after two officers were shot near Columbia Street and Western Avenue Thursday afternoon.

Police said the officers were responding to a robbery at the 7-Eleven on the 600 block of First Avenue, near Pioneer Square.

Police said the two officers ' a 30-year-old male and 42-year-old female ' fought with the suspects and were taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. The hospital said the female was in satisfactory condition and the male officer...
