The Dallas Wings traded four-time All-Star guard Skylar Diggins-Smith to the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday for three first-round draft picks.
The Wings acquired the No. 5 and No. 7 picks in the 2020 WNBA Draft plus Phoenix's first-round selection in 2021.
"I am so exited to have Skylar joining our franchise in pursuit of another championship," Mercury star Diana Taurasi said in a team release.
Diggins-Smith averaged 17.9 points, 6.2 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 32 games with Dallas in 2018. She sat out the 2019 season after giving birth to a son in April.
In six seasons with the Tulsa Shock (2013-15) and the Wings (2016-18), she posted career averages of 15.9 points, 4.9 assists, 2.7 boards and 1.3 steals in 168 games (155 starts).
The former Notre Dame star made three All-WNBA teams (2014, 2017-18) and was named the league's Most Improved Player in 2014.
