Seattle is the overwhelming favorite to win the 2021 WNBA championship.
The Storm sit at 180 odds for the title, slightly longer than the 160 opening odds with BetMGM. FanDuel lists the Storm as the favorite at 175.
Las Vegas (400), Washington (400) and Los Angeles (600) are also in the mix with Phoenix (1000) at the next rung below.
At FanDuel, Las Vegas is 350 and Washington 450.
Led by Sue Bird, Seattle appears to be back with a deeper roster. The Storm added Candice Dupree, a seven-time All-Star pick, and also return 2020 WNBA Finals MVP Breanna Stewart.
With multiple contenders on their heels, becoming the league's first back-to-back champions since the L.A. Sparks in 2001 and 2002 won't be easy.
Las Vegas has a big ace up its sleeve in 6-foot-8 center Liz Cambage, who returns after sitting out the 2020 season. The Aces tied Seattle for the best record in the WNBA last season in Florida. Vegas has reigning MVP A'ja Wilson leading the way and Kelsey Plum is also back after missing last season with a torn Achilles.
Speaking of big returns, Elena Delle Donne is back in the middle for Washington. The 2019 WNBA MVP sat out last season because of health concerns.
